This is the biscornu I stitched for Jen in the HOE exchange. The design was taken from the gift of stitching, using a pale blue linen and stitched with six strand sweets .
My christmas stitching to date - I am SO going to be ready this December!
A new start, Willie's Quaker Square #7.
No smoking needles - but progress nevertheless.

Beautiful biscornu! And I love your santa start. I've eyed those Willie's Quakers for a long time...looking forward to watching your progress!!
I never have smoking needles Clare. I feel slower than molasses but know I do get things done in the end. I feel like the most important thing is the enjoyment we should get from the stitching. You are really ahead of the game when it comes to Christmas. Everything looks wonderful!

What a nice biscornu, Clare. And your Santa piece looks like near completion. You are really up to date for Christmas, lol.
Lovely Claire simply lovely. I really like your Quaker piece and thread color!
Ack! We just got rid of our snow and you want Christmas back again? LOL, your Santa stitching is cute enough to bring the holidays early.
Santa is probably very happy with you. Very cute. All of the pieces are really nice.

That biscornu is really pretty
Love your stitching work! Re your questions about the snap frame... no idea, I actually have the same problem :). I'm going to try to add some fabric under the clasps... no idea if it works ... we'll see ~smile~
Happy Easter to you!
Your quaker is just beautiful! Keep stitching on it! Hugs, Deb
