Just thought I ought to post and acknowledge the passing of the years.
Today I celebrate my 50th birthday - and so far it is going with a swing, flowers, gifts and visits from friends wishing me well. I even had the sweetest compliment from a 9 year old telling me I didn't look that old!
This evening we will cut cake and open a bottle of bubbly.
Does this mean I have to be sensible now?

WOW 50! I beat you there by 10 days. It's not as bad as I expected. But definitely did not make me sensible. No worries.

Birthdays with an 0 on the end are always a bit scary don't you think?
You don't have to be sensible though. In the USA the Red Hat ladies (over 50's) wear purple and red and behave outrageously and so can you ..........if you want LOL
